Not enough room for an Island Bench? The Butcher’s Block is a great compromise. Extremely solid, the Butcher’s Block can withstand regular and rigorous chopping and cleaving, and is of course equally suited to general food preparation. Our standard Butcher’s Block has a cutting surface of 600 mm x 500 mm, and is the standard 900 mm bench top height, but you can change any of these dimensions to suit your needs.
The standard Butcher’s Block has been designed to be easily upgraded with a variety of options. It is made of Merbau timber which is oiled rather than varnished, making it more durable and maintenance friendly in the kitchen or BBQ environment. Our standard unit features a bottom shelf and polished stainless steel screws or bolts. The model pictured right has the 25mm High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) cutting surface.
